Dr Tony Khatle has completed his PhD in Educational Management at the University of Johannesburg. He has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in working with the private and public sector, corporate institutions, para-statals and NGO’s. He has served as a CEO of APPETD from 2006 – 2010. Prior he was an Academic Head of a Business School for International College Group. He also served as Chief Deputy Education Specialist for Gauteng Department of Education (IDSO). He has accumulated a wealth of experience and a strong and solid background in the education and training sector. He was involved in international conferences in areas of executive leadership, strategic planning, capacity building, business turnaround strategies, project management in various institutions. He has travelled to the following countries; England, Denmark, Israel and Australia to deliver papers in conferences on education and training strategies. His area of expertise currently involves Strategic Planning, Operational Plans, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Capacity Building, Team Building and Staff development activities for various NGO’s and para-statals.
Dr Tony Khatle has completed a number of activities including Capacity Building projects with the Department of Labour (DoL) and Department of Higher Education (DHET) training private providers and public institutions on different policy initiatives.
He was nominated by Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership to assist in Mentoring underperforming schools in Gauteng.
He is also a motivational speaker and has written a book entitled “From an ordinary clerk to a Chief Executive Officer” in 2008. Dr Tony Khatle is passionate about developing and empowering people to reach their full potential.
